Did anyone had interview at Canadian Consulate, New York, NY?

Posting of time lines will be highly appreciated..

One of my friends file was transfred from Buffalo to NYC for interview. he got the date for interview at NYC 4-5 months after his file transfer.
Interview was very nice, they will inform you what to bring for the interview like all educational cerificates,orignal passports, proof of funds, will ask about your job duties and will ask if you tried to find any job in canada, if you recieve any emal after you send your resume to Canada job, take the print out of that email.

Hello Friends My file also got transferred from Buffalo to New York in Mid of
October 2001 and still waiting for the interview date. Can someone inform me
tentative date of letter from New York, informing me the date of interview. Thanks

I sent my application on March 2000 and the NYC Consulate General of Canada asked me
to have interview on Feb 2001. The officer was very nice. Be honest to answer the
questions, bring all the necessary documents like original passport, edu cert., job
references, bank statements, etc. The officer asked me about my job experience and
what I intend to work in Canada. It was a pleasant interview.
