Dear Mr. Miller and others,
I lodged my application in June 2001 from Colombo, Sri Lanka. I was informed by the embassy last week that my interview would be in early September. The medical forms for me and my wife has been enclosed with the same envelope.
I have two questions in this regard, please answer it
Ouestion 01:
=========
I have heard that normally they call for a interview first. If she/he pass the interview, then send papres for medicals ? is it trues ?
But I got interview letter and the midical forms in same time. Could you please explain this situation? Have they decided that I have more tendency to pass the interview?
Ouestion 02:
=========
I have important overseas visit in the month of September which means that I am unable to attend the interview on the sheduled date. How can change the interview date? will it be a problem?
can it be possible for a early date than the fixed one?
Thanks
Luckukuma

Question 01 - There are different procedures in different visa posts and what you
heard may not apply to Colombo. Just do your medicals as asked and don't even try to
read anything more from this fact - it doesn't mean anything about probability of
passing or failing the interview.
Question 02 - You must immediately notify Colombo and ask for new date. Your
case will land at the bottom of the interview queue and you may wait quite a
while for new date.
