Default Internship in Toronto-any advice?

I have recently graduated from Goldsmiths College, University of London with a BA in Communications and Cultural Studies.

I really want to spend some time in Toronto doing some kind of internship.

I just have no idea where to start looking in order to find a placement..Has anyone done one? have any contacts? any advice would be gratefully received.

Hi Laura,

Perhaps a good starting point will be Career Edge. Career Edge is a private sector not-for-profit organization founded by Canadian employers offering 6, 9, or 12 month internships to recent graduates of university, college and high school.

You can find them on the web at: http://overview.careeredge.ca/index.asp

All the best!
