Just wondered if anyone could recommend anywhere online where you can buy "cheap" (but genuine) CDs and DVDs cheaper than in the shops - equivalents of CD Wow and play.com?

Also, if they are based in America and you order something, do you get stung for duty by Canadian Customs at all?

Yes - chances are you will and if you have to return something, you won't get your paid duty (or taxes or shipping) back.

And even if you use the likes of Amazon within Canada it takes an eternity for your items to arrive.

The mail order industry here has come in for quite a lot of criticism on this front recently I believe... Miles behind what you're used to in the UK.

While in the UK I often used the Canadian company DVDBoxOffice.com as they were cheap and had free shipping.

Now I've not checked them out since I've been here, but I've not come across online sites for CDs and DVDs that are much cheaper than the shops to be honest.

Are we talking blank or already recorded?
