Angry internal application form - UK Passports

has anyone had a problem getting their passports since they change it to the US office in Washington DC. on the website they say 10 days l have been waiting a month and after complaining to Ottawa finaly they are sending it to ALTON where the heck is ALTON l dont live there:

Errr....this is BE site feedback, not an Embassy feedback forum...

You might want to search the forum though as the subject has come up quite a bit recently...

But reading the embassy site and the forums, you'll realise they're having a delay, busted equipment and it's now taking around 6 weeks to turn around the passports...

No worries, you haven't pissed any one off at all. It can be a bit daunting when you first use a new site.

As you are in Canada I've moved this thread there for you so that anyone else who has applied for passports can share info.
