Insider Info? Delays?
Hi All -
No one knows more about paperwork delays than our gang, surely!
But does anyone know WHAT the issues are with London High Commission?
I know they drag their feet but the sudden purge back in the early summer has given way to an agonizing, if not curious, period of nothingness.
For those who take an obsessive if not forensic approach to immigration-trackers, will no doubt notice, that since late August 2009 (if we discount one or two cases blipped here and there) that progress has been pitiful. Along with the last batch of '07-ers the 'new' fast-track process appears to have suffered the same fate.
I can't see any similar period in the past where months have gone by without ANY document requests. Odd!
Further analysis shows that waiting periods are once again rising on average. As a consequence, the hope of a reduction in waiting time from the classic quote of ''42-48 months'' to something nearer 30-36 months, is fading fast.
Anyone got any insider info...?
Woof!

Re: Insider Info? Delays?
Here, here!!! Its so frustrating...We are 'Old Queue' - Oct 07 and judging by the timings back in the autumn were hoping to hear something early part of this year, but don't think that will be happening somehow.
Check Trackitt daily but there doesn't seem to be anything happening, anywhere to be honest. They did re-open after christmas didn't they??!!!!
Like you, wish someone, somewhere would give us some info into exactly what they are doing Please someone......

Hi
Since the processing time is quoted as 6-12 months from when the application is received in the overseas office. In your case 1st of Sept., it is well within their processing times, and as their website states, if it is in the published times, they won't reply.
