They are 9 individuals, living in their own apartments around town so we don't really combine grocery shopping. They receive anywhere between 6-20 hrs support each a week, covered by 4 staff and we each support all 9. They also get a food top-up of up to $150 every three months so that is used to bulk buy specials and more expensive items like chicken.

They all work part-time so do have a little extra cash to buy luxury items or eat out but the main food budget throughout the organisation is $35 each unless they have special dietary needs eg diabetic or coeliac.
