Question Immigration application advice - separation / divorce

My partner (lead applicant / skilled worker) has applied over a year ago to immigrate to Canada with her two children and husband at the time. She has undergone her medical and all is ok. Since applying she is now separated from her husband and I would like to accompany her & children. Given the application did not name me, nor have I separately applied (though I meet the min criteria also for skilled worker), what are the likely next steps? Is there a fast track process or is it a new application?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

Sir,

From what you said here, you and your partner will have to go through the whole process again am afraid. The thing is, the ex husband's name is the one on the previous application, and its already in the system, you can't have two applications going at the same time.

It more complicated now by the sound of things, she has to have a custody paper for the kids, and you have to now include your name, along with her's on the new application, after she has withdrawn the previous one.

Hopefully her medicals may still be valid, the sooner you get the ball rolling the better.

Good luck

It's a new application.
