Just an idea...
We're moving back to Glasgow from Calgary this summer (this is the second time we've moved back!). I've just started the plans and thought that maybe someone is in the same position but moving in the opposite direction. Basically I have electric/ electronic bitsn'pieces (e.g. printer, electric lawnmower, phones, wireless router, table lamps, extension cords, radio, old but functioning TVs, etc) that on their aren't much but can add up if they have to be bought new when setting up home.
If anyone thinks they could use this kind of stuff I can put a more detailed list together and we can take it from there. I'm not looking to sell anything here but maybe we could do some kind of swap and I could acquire your similar type of stuff.

Mainly family - I'm missing them more as time goes by and I'd like my kids to grow up knowing them well. Few other relatively minor things; cheaper university, golf, getting increasingly irritated by the politics here. That all said, I'll certainly miss Calgary - it has a lot going for it. I never moved here in the typical immigrant way. I was always quite happy in Scotland
