De clutter your life Kate, it's all good therapy. I took a week off work last year to clear out the attic(loft) and whilst i hated doing it i must admit it felt good when we finished.

Best you tell her how 'cool' she looks and ask if she can help you with your make up so you can look the same. That should put a stop to it nothing worse for the kids to have a 'cool' parent as we are all past it anyway!

I would to but when I shout and say no it has the opposite effect. So now I agree and like things like black make up that then takes the rebel bit away and then she does think it is 'cool' cause Dad likes it. Mad yes but she is a teenager!
