IEC Canada Insurance
Hi,
I'm going to BC on the IEC visa next year with my girlfriend and have been looking at insurance for the year. However it seems very expensive!
What is there average we can expect to pay? and if anyone who is currently on, or has been out on this visa - what are your recommendations for insurance? Our first quote as a couple came out at nearly $2000 for the year and that was with Manulife.
Thanks, Rich.

Alright mate, me and my girl friend are in the same position. I used Compare the Market.com, i think, or a site like it, and it cam out at about £500 for the year for two people, really low excess and really high medical and personal possession limits.

Try Ace Insure. I'm on my the IEC in Canada now and all was ok when entering the country.

Re: IEC Canada Insurance
I've now got my second letter of introduction for the IEC and plan to be leaving and re-entering Canada via the US border. Does anyone have any recommendations for getting travel insurance while not in the UK?
I asked ACE Insure (who I am currently with) and they are unable to extend it and only cover trips starting from the UK.
Thanks.
