Hello all,
I just wanted to post my idea to you lot and see what you think.
I have been looking for a job in Canada for a whole now but its not coming together. I am an MS IT Technician and it seems IT staff are not in demand.
So my thoughts were to try and get over there on a working holiday position and try and find a position that way. This is a bit risky as if it doesn't pull off I will be coming back to nothing.
I just want to know what people thought about this and what they would do in my situation?
Regards
Adam

Do a search for BUNAC , I'm pretty certain that there are a fair few people who have done exactly that
Yes it is risky but so is life
Good luck

T hats exactly what I will be doing Zoe.
From what I have read it is mainly for students who have just graduated and for them to experience life over in other countries. I graduated 2 years a go and feel into a very good job for the institute that I got my degree from. I still qualify for a working holiday due to my age so I am still ok to apply.
I plan on applying for it next year so I can get my self over there and try and get my foot in the door.

Lots of people on here have gone on Bunac and converted that to a TWP/PR, so it definitely can be done.
Just don't forget that registrations for next year's program open in early December and the visas all go very quickly usually (by end of Jan this year) so don't delay if you want one.
Good luck.

I am currently working towards my MCITP, so I hope it can give me that edge.
