Smile ICD Health Matters

Hi all,

First off, i am sorry if this question has already been posted. With such a vast forum it's difficult to pin any previous posts down

I recently - 3 years ago - had to be fitted with an ICD (internal cardiovascular defibrulator) ; it's like a pacemaker. It doesn't affect my health in anyway and has been put in as more of a precaution. Had a complication a couple of years ago and picked up an infection in the hospital which lead to heart surgery to clean out the infection. again everything is fine and health is perhaps even better than it was before.

Will this have a large, negative impact on success?

See the post has had a few views...

has anybody had experience of going for the medical with either a pacemaker or ICD?
