I resigned today .........
Today has been fairly momentous - we exchanged on the sale of our house, and I resigned from my job - can't wait to get out to Canada now .......

Congrats to you on both house sale and resignation..
Can I be nosey and ask where in Surrey you live / work? I'm just south of G'ford, and resigned a week ago... Didn't manage to sell the house but it's now rented and my 1 way ticket is booked for the 26th July!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations. We resigned our jobs on 30th September 07 and completed the sale of our house on 4th October and that felt pretty good but we think an exchange/resignation on the same day trumps that! Delighted for you.
