#1
Have radio stations here never heard of the 'no repeat workday'!!!
If I have to listen to Natasha flippin Beddingfield one more time today, I swear I'll hurl the radio straight out the window
Any one know of a decent station in Edm, other than heavy rock or country, that doesn't play the same stuff day in day out ?
Help................<desperate stay at home Mum, with not enough CD's and who has to have background music>!!!!!

CRTC mandates a certain amount of "Canadian content" hence you get to listen to the same thing day in day out.
Possible solution get a "Satellite Radio" but that will involve paying a subscribtion fee for whatever radio stations you choose.
Sirius Satellite Radio Canada
XM Satellite Radio Canada

When I lived in Hanna, Alberta we only got Christan Radio.
I assume you have broadband and you can listen to any radio station around the world.

Never fear, you don't have to suffer so! Try www.lastfm.com - it works like an on-line radio station without the ads and cheesy announcers. YOU choose the music by typing in a band/artist you like and it plays you a string of stuff they think you might also like. It's dead cool. It also introduces you to new bands etc.
Tried to alert BE members to this a few weeks back but no one was listening

You can buy a cheapo little gadget from "The Source" that plugs into your speaker socket on the PC and transmits the sound via FM radio. It's preset to 88.1fm. So tune you kitchen radio into the appropriate frequency, your computer to the internet radio station of your choice and Bob's you mother's brother!
This is the thing: http://www.thesourcecc.com/estore/Pr...roduct=2610510
I use it for Radio 4 when washing up!

Whatever is a "no repeat workday"????????
BTW doesn't your cable have the various music channels so that you could have 24/7 music in the category you choose? For example, there is a channel for Classical, R&B, Jazz, Oldies, etc.
