Default I feel like i'm on dragons den

Hi all

I am trying for a move to Canada, I have a company interested in my skills on offer and am expecting a telephone interview Thursday evening. I have been studying this forum for a couple of months now reading the guides and your posts (hence the nervous dragons den approach).
I would just like to make sure I have things correct in my head. I intend to apply for a temporary work permit(LMO) if my interview is successful, I believe this will give me between 1-3 years on this permit and in this time I can pursue permanent residency. Can someone correct me if I am wrong.
Cheers

The company applies for the LMO after advertising and then the potential employee applies for the TWP with the LMO in hand, unless things have changed.

Probably best to not reveal that in your interview

You can only 'convert' a TWP to PR if the job is at NOC skill Level 0, A or B
Take a look at the NOC matrix here: http://www30.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English...06/Matrix.aspx

Sorry, but that's not correct. That's only for PR as a Skilled Worker, but there are various other routes to PR, including PNP's.

I stand, most humbly, corrected.
