Where is this great veggie food you speak of? I'm stuck out here in rural Southwestern Ontario and apart from the obvious - veggies and fruit - I can only find THE most disgusting (dried) soya mince which stays bright pink no matter what I put with it! Yuck!! If there's one thing I miss it's Linda McCartney sossies....oh, and haloumi cheese (and lots of other stuff as well, but that's in another thread!). I've asked in various large supermarkets if they have haloumi and they don't know what I'm talking about - same thing when I enquired about fresh yeast as opposed to dry. So - if you have a secret stash of great veggie stuff - let me know, I'll be round :D  |

Apart from that I love the Soylicious (or whatever it's called) ice cream here! All soy these days is GMO and has been proven to kill lab rats in the 1000's (like; fatalities of babies are 55% as opposed to 8% fed normal soy) Though you might want to know that :( |

Doh!! They take you away for talking to yourself ;) You obvioulsy arent in Alberta!!!! You obviously don't shop for veggie food ;) OHHHHHH PLEASE try. :D |
Re: I didn't realise that....
The cessna sized yellow jackets look fearsome, but the ones that we've had in our yard really don't seem as aggressive or pestilential as the blighters back in blighty.
The other day when we were eating supper on the deck we'd just sat down when TWO whoppers came buzzing by. The boys, horrified, prepared to decamp back indoors with their food, but after checking us out and looking at what we were eating, the buzzy things evidently decided it was not fit for waspish consumption and away they went! Now if that had been in the uk, not only would they not have moved on, they probably would have told several of their friends as well! I think the wasps here are MUCH more polite! :D Several times we have had one get inside the house, and we just catch 'em in a glass and release them outdoors again. |

I plan on buying a couple of those wasp catchers for the garden to keep them away from us during the BBQ, but they're not actually bad and bothersome this time of year because they're too busy pollen collecting and building up nests......its at then end of August/September that they go doo-lally and agressive because they're dying off and also they've fed up on too much rotting fruit. In ontario, not only did we have the yellow jacket, but the hornet and the paper wasp (which was like a giant flying ant, as big as a your little finger) ......needless to say I'm afraid I never got to enjoy my beautiful back deck in SW Ontario through my phobia. I wish I could get that Wasp Away body spray like I could get from Superdrug & Boots :( |

If you are looking for aggression from them just wait until later in the summer when there's lots more of them and food is starting to get in short supply. :) Cheers Steve |

Many veggies stop eating meat for reasons other than their own personal well being. :) |
