You may have become a citizen but you don't just turn into a Canadian.
You are a Brit with dual Canadian citizenship. If you moved to India would you say you were now indian because you had been granted a citizenship paper ?

Born and bred ? Through descent ? Through marriage ? or lastly through naturalisation ?
I think birth and descent carry the most weight, followed by marriage.
