Humble Pie from Lousid
You know what, people? It's been almost five years for us now and we've had a good few ups, but oh so many downs. The last thread (since halted) contained some puerile rejoinders that were uncalled for and, notably, started by us. Since starting this expat thing years ago, we have, indeed, met with many useful pieces of advice and information from well meaning folk. We've been down in the dumps, very tetchy and irritable and really angry these past few weeks. With more heartache over our boy's not settling well, we got a little ratty. To get the hump because nobody jumped to our beck and call immediately is just sour cheese and grapes so, with that in mind, please note:
Iaink - sorry. Seriously. You've always been a great resource.
Four Bells - just haven't had chance to pm you and it WAS awufully nice of the offer of a free sesh at the gym. To you, sorry. Again, seriously.
The administrators, moderators, Moochops, Tangram and others who make this a great resource, sorry for being geese over this. There are times we have felt like thowing in the towel because of difficult circumstances, but we always read with interest the more difficult issues others have faced and conquered. It fills us with shame. Sorry.
This isn't tongue-in-cheek. We have offered much advice to others in the past and would like to receive more in the future, too, as our needs and questions require.
Humble pie. Happy to eat it, too.
Sorry chaps.

Never apologise and never explain. It's rule 34 of the internet.

A large slice of pie is always good for the soul - any kind of pie will do. Graciously done.
