Default HST drop...should I wait ?

Car dealer has advised me not to settle my lease until the New Year as HST is dropping by 1% and therefore I would save $350 by settleing in the New Year ( less a little extra interest ).

Is it true about the HST drop ?

yes I think it is. I had worked out our saving- but we really need to buy when we get there! I reckon they must be discounting though otherwise hardly anyone will be buying!

Aren't some makes of cars going down in price due to the strong Canadian dollar. I think I heard that on the news just recently.
