Hello everyone,
I have been reading E.P for a while now and find it a real goldmine of information. We, Hubby, myself and 3 boys are looking to move to N.S and although I have rooted round (probably in completely the wrong places!) I can't find the answer I am hunting. Hoping you'll forgive me if it's been in front of my nose all the time, just got to the point where I think it's going to be easier to ask, Just how much exactly, do you need to have in "funds" so you'll be allowed into the country?
Thanks. Pat.

That depends on your method of immigration. If you are going the skilled worker router for a family of your size you will need $22,831.

If you have arranged employment/Work Permit you won't need to prove you have these funds.
I suggest you do a lot more reading on the CIC site and use the wiki's on this site.

Hello and thankyou for your reply, (fellow Yorkshire'ite too!) I've been round the Wiki and the CIC site too, but like I said I've got to the point where I couldn't see the wood for the trees!!! It's nice to have a straight answer....thankyou again. At the moment we are looking into Intra-company transfer, if not, it will be the PNP route but it is early days yet.
