Dont forget you have only two weeks left - oh maybe I'm wrong, do the schools continue to the end of July. See you should have got a job in Norn Iron and the nightmare would soon be over!!

Just had a dodgy thought and remembered this thread....
What happens if once we're out there on a WP, do a year or so, apply for PR and for any reason get turned down??? would WP still be valid till end? or would we be shown the door?

you are right, schools end June 30th - at least the one nearest to us does!

That's a big difference isn't it, especially as they go back to school here first week of September (same as UK I think). Most kids clubs (swimming, music etc) finished classes 2 weeks ago, a real pain when you are a nanny stuck at home with a 5 year old!
