How long for PR to come through when on a TWP?

How long for PR to come through when on a TWP?
Can anyone tell me how long it takes for a PR Visa to be granted when on a TWP in Canada?
I know that for it to be fast tracked it should be sent to CHC London, but can anyone tell me exactly how long they have had to wait?
Also, the immigration lawyer that our employers used to gain the Intra Company Transfer Visa said that the application should be sent to Buffalo??? Why would they be recommending Buffalo if London is quicker?
Any help is grateful...

Hi, your application is sent to Buffalo if you live in Canada already. Ours was sent there then forwarded to Seattle, wouldnt say they were very fast, but not as slow as others. They all seem to do things differently from what ive read on here as in the order in which they do things? We had meds done June 2008 and only just got passport request?

Not necessarily You can send your application to London and is in fact quicker to do so

We too were told that our application had to go to Buffalo as we were applying from within Canada. It was later sent on to New York - which apparently is a good thing as Buffalo is meant to be slow. Still waiting.......Hopefully get something through any day now.......

The only way to get a PR app processed on the so called 'Fast Track' is to send it to the High Commission that processed your TWP. Sending it to Buffalo will still work but is not supposed to be fast tracked............check out he Wiki as its all in there.

I got TWP in march through PNP and put our PR application into London on the 1st september,
So far we`ve heard nothing about our application, anyone have any idea when we should get med requests through ?
Spoke with the employer in Canada and they just said no news is good news as our paperwork must all be in order
,
Our application for PR was put through London as we`re not going out to Canada untill may as my employer says it should all be sorted by then.
Any help or info on this will be greatly appreciated.
