Just hoping mine isnt one of the 20% that cud be longer than the 9-10 months stated. I'm waiting on this to sponsor my other half, can't do anything til I have it. I just don't get what takes so long!

Thanks. Hope yours won't be too much longer. We want to move asap but can't do anything, need to put sponsor application through once my certificate is received so probably going to be next April/May before we can go. I just want to know if I am a citizen or not....I'm assuming I am seen as though the assessment on CIC says I'm likely to be...its just so frustrating!

You cant track it online outside of Canada, wish I could at least that way I would know if Nova Scotia have even received it!

Bubblybre, hopefully once you get your sponsorship form in it wont take too long, we put ours in Nov '11 and would have been approved May '12 except they decided my OH needed to have TB test, so he eventually got PR Sept '12. We are just trying to sell our house at the moment, going to Calgary, where do you plan on going?

Get someone with a Canadian IP to check it or use a VPN. I find it odd that you can check everything else online regardless of the country your computer is in.

They don't give you a tracking number if your outside Canada. Planning on heading to Burlington at first, not sure yet til we visit in September. If the sponsorship is approved we will have to sell up aswell so it could be a while yet, I'm a very impatient person though! Haha

Never guess what,
I actually got them Turned up in the post today, from Sydney, Canada.
Only took 19 months, so hang on in there Bubblybre!!!

They replied to an email I sent them on tuesday. They said that they cannot query it until my application has been IN CANADA for at least a year and if not received by then to contact them...........so tedious! Wish i could just forget about it and it arrives when it arrives but its all i think about! Very painful! Lol!

10 months...still nothing! Really hope it comes within the next 2 months!
