Hi Dave;

Ours took 5 long months to receive our passport requests. I know of others who only took 3 weeks to receive the PPR's! I wouldn't hazzard a guess about how long it takes for current processing of meds, but have to admit telling the boss to shove it was the best feeling I had in the 7 and a half years working for him.

Hope your request comes through soon as waiting after medical was far more painful than any of the waiting time before. I think it is because you are so close to the end and it really plays on the mind.

Simon

Hi Dave
Congratulations! Ours took just over 4 weeks to actually get our passport requests and PPR but there was Christmas and New Year in between. We sent our passports Special delivery and put a special delivery packet in as our return envelope as it guarantees next day. Whereabouts are you hoping to go?

Bets of luck Wallace

Hi
We had our medicals done on 5th Dec 05 and got our passport request 9th Feb 06. We posted the passports to CHC on 21st Feb (slight delay due to business travel) and received them back with visas on 7 March.

Congrats of getting your med requests & good luck.

Jane

Hi
We had med requests mid Jan 05..............

Passport rquests, End March 05...............so about 10 weeks between the 2.

Visa's approx a week later, 7th April...........................remember the EXACT date that came through !!!

Just one comment...............if you have any medical conditions that may be old or not now causing you any concerns,(ones that they may question that is...) I would recommend getting a letter form your GP staing such beforehand, ..................as what may happen, is they will need to send off for confirmation from your GP anyway..........and that may slow things down. You don't want any delay at that late stage.

WE are off to Calgary too although it wont be until the summer as the house we have bought is still being built. Also it enables us to finish the school year here. Can't wait to go
Beat of luck
