It's not out of date, but if you look at the NOC website you'll see that it has pretty much every single job on there, so it being on the NOC website doesn't mean anything. If you try a search, you'll see that any job will come up, whether it's a bartender, lawyer, or even animal trainer. Each has it's own description and list of related occupations, as you've linked to above.

But only 29 of the thousands of jobs on the NOC list are on the list of eligible occupations for FSW cat 1. 1111 was on 'the list' from 28th February 2008 to 26th June 2010, but isn't any longer.

The rest of the NOC list is used for various other things by CIC such as categorising which Skill Level your job falls in to, for TWP applications, etc. It's a complete list of every job that anybody might want a visa for.
