Uh. Phone up the airline and say "I'd like to cancel our flights please". Do you need advice on breathing and falling off logs?

Do you want me to get her to help you with your punctuation and use of capital letters while she's at it?

I'm guessing since you're in Winnipeg you're talking about Zoom?

Check here for their T&Cs, you can give the ticket to someone else and change the name for a fee; or assuming you've got no travel insurance and you cancel, you can get half the ticket price back at best.

As, by your own admittance, you're 'special', no doubt allowances will be given :)

What do you think anyone can advise, except calling your airline to find out what the deal is? S'not rocket science, is it

If the flights coming from the USA its most probably North West.

As long as they didn't pay the lowest price (and bought a non refundable fare) they should be able to get their money back,

If not, maybe they still want to have a holiday in Chicago or Winnipeg. I'm sure they could have fun without you.

Via Chicago? More like United Airlines. NWA hubs through Detroit, Minneapolis and ..... I think Newark.

Yeh, they're not even proper United ones, they're operated by Cheesehead Air from Wisconsin or something
