Excellent news, we are due to exchange tomorrow or Friday as well, although I'm beginning to panic that we will end up homeless so have put the skids on a bit - I'm never happy lol! Luckily our buyers don't want the house until July so we are due to complete then. I just hope we can get an extra week or two because I think I may need it.

Hope the completion goes through ok.

congrats to you too SB45, i didnt see that you was at this stage too, its agreat feeling isnt it, seems ages ago that we completed (19/12/08) ! things have gone okay since so no complaints.

Thanks, I have to say it all feels a bit surreal at the moment. I think because we have a while to complete. I keep thinking I really need to get my backside into gear to clear more of the house out but for some reason just keep putting it off.

We are subject to contract, the vendor's surveyor paid a call today so hopefully we will be exchanging contracts soon! However, we were well below our asking price. Things may be moving on the housing front but here in Morecambe houses are not going for their asking prices. As we are not departing until July ... the search is on for a very short term let.

congrats we took a loss on ours before xmas

our rental finishes on june 12th
