hi all

can we take all the household things along with us when we are landing first time in canada?is it too costly for sending via courier from uk?how much kilogram can we take along with us?

are you taking them on the plane as luggage, excess baggage, cargo? or you shipping them over in a container? Some things can be used with a converter but wouldn't bother with white goods

It's generally cheaper to take them with you rather than have to buy them all again, but use a shipping company as a courier will be much more expensive.

If you do a search you'll find lots of threads on shipping quotes, about £4k for a typical size house seems to be the norm.

I believe you need to inform the airline in advance if you're taking your couch as a carry-on.
