As Ive said previously, we left the house in UK up fpr sale. We accepted an offer on 13th August and completed today. Not mentioned it before cos I didnt want to jinx it!!
Our money is in our UK bank where no doubt it will be staying for the forseeable future - exchange rates!!!
It is one less headache now though.
We have been approved for a mortgage with our bank here so are good to go when we can.
Everything is more positive now. I am much more content even though I am still job hunting. Our son is working as a chef in an independent restaurant here. He loves it as everything is cooked with fresh ingredients so in his opinion " a proper kitchen", not a microwave in sight lol.
My husband absolutely adores it here and I am really fitting into the housewifey thing. I have not stayed at home for 20 years.
So really, after a few hiccups, life is good.
