Default House Completed

As Ive said previously, we left the house in UK up fpr sale. We accepted an offer on 13th August and completed today. Not mentioned it before cos I didnt want to jinx it!!
Our money is in our UK bank where no doubt it will be staying for the forseeable future - exchange rates!!!
It is one less headache now though.
We have been approved for a mortgage with our bank here so are good to go when we can.
Everything is more positive now. I am much more content even though I am still job hunting. Our son is working as a chef in an independent restaurant here. He loves it as everything is cooked with fresh ingredients so in his opinion " a proper kitchen", not a microwave in sight lol.
My husband absolutely adores it here and I am really fitting into the housewifey thing. I have not stayed at home for 20 years.
So really, after a few hiccups, life is good.

Congrats, I'm currently crapping myself...we've been waiting two days for our buyer to go sign the damn contracts. apparently their solicitor decided to have the day off yesterday on our original completion date!
