For those of you not around in the UK in the 80’s, the link contains a clip from Rainbow a real British kids TV show that very popular then.

The actors and puppets in the clip are genuine it was broadcast.

After exhaustive research...OK, I just went to Snopes...apparantly it is for real, but was made by and for the casts amusement only, having tired of making a kids show. It was never intended for public consumption and was not broadcast, but I am so glad it escaped. Childish purile knob gags..right up my street

heh If you hang around internet bars like what I do, you'll find this goes around the boards (in all walks of subject) every Christmas at least, and somebody (usually an american ) thinks its for real!

I believe they made it for the cast Christmas party one year, and, no, it was NEVER broadcast!
