hi, Iam a british student in USA . I want to work for my summer May- August in Canada as my aunt lives there and don't have to pay for accommodation. Is it possible to do that?

I'll have a look. its just that I met a guy at a photo shop Blacks I think in Toronto who had come on holiday from Glasgow and had managed to get a job at the shop for 2 months said it was dead easy.

But who knows what visa he had (if any), or if they got a work permit for him (unlikely in the current economic climate unless you have distinct skills)


Legally if you are not canadian, then you need a visa of some kind to work here.

also the OP needs a SIN number and can't get one without a Visa. A little confused on how someone can get a job without the two unless its a backhander. Which I wouldn't advise anyone to risk doing that.
