You can "do" cities anywhere in the world (though do not miss Montreal and Quebec City) but you can't walk/ski in a forest with bears around the corner in Europe any more.
Go hiking, add new birds to your life-list, catch some wild trout, see stars in a sky free of light pollution, rent a canoe - stuff like that. Wilderness - Europe overpopulated theirs centuries ago, here it still exists.

Hello There,
Ontario: Toronto is Canada's answer to America's big cities. This city of over 2 million has everything one can get in Canada - major league sports franchises, major attractions, even major traffic jams. I enjoy the Ontario Science Centre a lot.
South of Toronto is Niagara Falls on the Canada - US border. Niagara Falls is another must-see site in Canada. The ground seems to shake when you are near the falls. Make a day of it, and view the falls from both the American and Canadian sides, and from under it on one of the boats (like the Maid of the Mist) that ply the river below the falls.
The Rideau Canal and Locks
The Ontario Parliament Building
The CN Tower
Saskatchewan: I'm afraid I've driven more through Saskatchewan than spent a lot of time in it. Southern Saskatchewan is one large prairie - farmer fields for miles on end..Saskatchewan has also a national park that I've enjoyed visiting - Prince Albert National park and the town of Waskesiu Lake. The park has good boating, swimming, hiking trails, cottages - but its been a while since I visited.
Alberta : Some of the places we have visited - the national parks - you have to visit Banff NP - There are many activities in Banff - hikes such as Johnson Canyon (a 1/2 day walk with a restaurant on site as well) - even the hike to the top of Tunnel Mountain is fun. Lake Louise is worth a visit (everyone takes a picture in front of the lake), as is the Banff Springs Hotel site (don't forget to check Bow River Falls nearby, and if you are into golf, the wapiti are a natural hazard).
Jasper NP is worth checking out as well - and the scenery on the drive from Banff to Jasper is spectacular. - there are lots of places to stop - especially the Columbia Icefields, where you can hike up to a glacier, or get a ride on top of it on a Bombadier-like vehicle.
Montreal : The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts is one of the three best art museums in Canada. It probably surpassed only by Ottawa's National Gallery in the quality of its permanent collection.
Am sure others will have more to share with you. Enjoy your when you come over, so much to do and see !
cheers
