Default Hi from Manitoba

Hello everyone. Been in Stonewall for just over a year now. Only found this website recently, wish I had heard of it sooner. It is very informative.

There were so many forms for the PNP nomination that I thought we would never get sorted. Anyway, got nominated and have more forms to complete. Will be back on here with questions, no doubt.

Hi
Have you been told to send your federal forms to Buffalo as this is where we've been told to submit on the Alberta PNP.

It is a very nice town. We are not great lovers of cities, always lived in villages back home. People are very friendly. It has almost everything we need there, doctors/hospital/2 banks/2 supermarkets/dentist/post office/card shops and lots of others.

The only snag is that the liquor vendor doesn't sell Guinness so have to make a 1/2 hour trip to Winnipeg.

Read on another posting that it was quite hard to get a house here. There aren't many houses that are for sale for very long.

Good stuff, glad you like it

We were in Winnipeg for 2yrs and although it wasn't for me, it was a nice place and I think more Brits should consider it. Having said that, the housing market's a bit mad in Wpg at the moment, isn't it?!

The Housing market is calming down a bit now, it usually does this time of year, and then fires up again in the spring.

So for those who want to buy a house, now can be a good time, there won't be the choice of other times, but you may not have to cope with the frantic bidding wars we've been having.
