Hi,
Welcome to BE and to Canada! We're the other side of the mountains from you, in Okotoks, Alberta but I'm sure some BC based folk will be along in due course.
Hope all goes well for you in Vancouver. Beautiful city.
Kind regards,
Eamonn & Janet.

Seriously though, we are loving it here at present and are in no rush back to the UK just yet.
Kind regards,

Myself other half and family have just come over to North Vancouver. We love it here so far. Are you on your own or with family? How are you settling?

Thanks for thr message. I am pleased that you love it here, I must say it is beautiful when the sun shines and we are all really lucky I guess! I am settling in ok and yes came here on my own but am presently staying with my auntie, uncle and cousins until I get myself sorted out. Will feel more at home when I get my own place thats for sure!

We lived near Oundle on the east side... as for moving here... mountains, lakes, crystal clear rivers and a slower pace of life... it's totally wonderful! how about yourself?

I am originally from the Ely area of Cambridgeshire. Born and bred near Oliver cromwell and the big cathedral! Came here for a change at this point in my life and as you say the great outdoors. Have also just found employment which is a large weight off my mind.
