I'd go for that option as well. There are provinces where your money goes further - at least until you get yourselves established. having said that, if you have to go where the work is, you may not have too much of a choice.

It is worth looking around though. Have a look at MLS - at least it will give you an idea of how different house prices can be. Go to: http://www.mls.ca/
