We'd like to move to the outskirts of Calagary, we're just trying to find a way in at the moment. My job is quite specialised (analytical chemist) so i'm hoping that I may be able to find a job first. Its the only way we'd make enough points anyway.

Hi and welcome to BE we're in Ashford, Kent and are emigrating 27th Jan 2007!!

Picking passports up with shiny visas in from London Thursday.

My husband has a job with EPS and so we're going over on PNP and when we we'll have PR status. From start to finish around 4 months so it can happen quickly. We've been really organised and getting information and paperwork sorted first time helped us a lot.

This forum is great for asking and answering questions, no matter how strange or silly they may be. Also the search facility is good as the topic or question may have already been asked and this will save time. I've read past posts when researching and its been useful to us.

Hope that your journey to Canada is straightforward as possible.

My husband is looking for work first before well move out so it might take us a little while but not to long we hope
