Hi All,
Well finally we are here, arrived at Hamilton airport yesterday, customs didn't seem interested in our goods to follow, although we were referred to immigration as they didn't seem to understand the fact we already had our work permits and were coming back into the country, was quite amusing actually, however thanks to the excellent memory of an immigration officer who remembered issuing our permits we just got waved through in the end
K-W is better than I remember from 3 weeks ago, found my new 'used' car from a dealer who seems to care - small family dealership, and cares about repeat business. So tomorrow it's off to the bank to pry the funds from them to purchase the car.
A week of orientation is ahead, just finding our feet, where everything is all before I start work on the 30th August, so much to do and so little time!
