I've been here nearly a year now and have assimilated most of Canadian food especially avoiding "British " this and "English style" that. But I do need gravy granules, it's a big part of my daughters diet (believe it or not!) and helps he not miss home. For some reason during the refit they stopped selling it and the produce manager confirmed its no longer on order.

Anyone know anywhere I can get it? Preferably in Prince George. Feel a bit silly getting mum to send it over and it's costs!

I know it's a small thing but for daughter and me, it's the one thing where Canadian gravy powder just won't do.

Oooh, never knew they sold it in the first place. When our local store stopped selling Wiltshire Bacon I emailed them and asked why. They soon emailed back saying they would be restocking it for me and all the other Brits that have discovered it, so that's worth a shot.

We found Metro has just started selling gravy granules.

Yes, just found the Wiltshire bacon, hubby likes it but I'm used to streaky now!
Thanks for the tip about metro, but we don't have it here.

Think ill try writing to the manager and see if he will restock it for me, or give me his wholesaler so I can get it by the caseload lol

You need to go on the main website i think, thats what i did, then it was referred to the local store,mthe whole process was about a week...

our Superstore in Duncan doesn't stock it either. You can probably get it wholesale if you're prepared to buy a shed load. We're friends with "London Bus" Wholesale in Shawnigan. They'll get you most things.

Try Maggi gravy granules, they are sold in superstore and are really nice in my opinion.

What aisle do i look down, i hate that shop with a purple passion, becuase nothing is set out intelligently, but there are a couple of things i go in for and stock up.

Sometimes it's cultural misunderstandings - superstore actually stock yorkshire puddings, but they're in the dessert section

Our superstore has never stocked them, nor does bulk barn, we've always had to go to the not very local (i.e. 4 hours away) British shop.
