Hi GloriaJean,
For getting your pets back to UK, I would highly recommend Ladyhaye Pet Travel 01342 832161 or www.ladyhaye.co.uk/pet_travel - We used them when moving to Canada and back to UK 10 years later. Louise helped every step of the way. I couldn't find a company in Canada that would export them direct. There is a lot of paperwork and precise timing but they can help you with that too.
Sorry I am unable to help on your other question.
All the best
Nicci
