Good luck

I am living in these area's and the papers or sites do not do it justice. There are many places here just to walk, take kids to play and many leisure activities. You have to be hear and explore.

We decided to move further out for more Canadian schools Pitt Meadows is a good family area no rubbish here(a lot of Brits) easy commute to Burnaby about 40min. Coquitlam is closer. Maple ridge there is plenty for kids to do, clubs. Burnaby is like china town and downtown areas are Asian aswel.

Good Luck

Hello eliz - I'm sure I am reading your post wrongly - often the written can infer meaning that is not necessarily meant - however the way your post reads (to me) seems to indicate a dislike of Asians?

You mention "..good family area no rubbish here(a lot of Brits)..." is this rubbish a description of waste material sitting on a street of a descriptor for a segment of the community?

As I say, sometimes posts can be read wrongly and indeed I hope I have mistaken what you are saying.

Maybe brush up on your history of Vancouver. Many 'Chinese looking people' in Vancouver have family histories in Vancouver far longer than many Whities and in fact are far more Canadian than YOU'll ever be. Something to keep in mind.

I was wondering this but couldn't think how to phrase the question.

I personally like my children living and going to school with Chinese families. I think they have a great work ethic and are far more focused in school and hopefully this will rub off on my kids!

So where the majority of American White Supremacists and the South African supporters of appartheid!!!

Just because you're born out side the EU doesnt mean
1) you arent white
and
2) you arent racist.
