M y daughter has started a new life in Bragg Creek, she has a new position as director for Calgary Health region , we went out with them when they were trying to decide where to live, we hired a big RV 7 cruised for 4 wks, I have always dreamed of living in Canada, so it's now or never.

We bought a house to rent out , we then changed our mind and decided to keep it for our use , we were going to stay there for a few months of the year , but wife has decided and me for that matter that we now want to emigrate instead. so now we have to start and get the show on the road .

Many thanks have already submitted a cv to these but as I have been advised it takes a long time for replies. Yes, my family have settled in well they say at this stage they wouldn't move back ,they love it. I think the secret is to do your homework first it has certainly paid off for them.

Is your daughter there on a Work Permit or as a Permanent Resident?

If she is PR, she can sponsor you in to Canada - although you'll still need to fin work yourself unless you have another means of financial support. It could be another option for you?

hi thanks for the info, she is going to sponsor us as she has got permanent residency, but unfortunately I'm not of the idle rich fraternity & have to work for a living, so I thought I should start looking for a job right away
