Default Help and advice

Hello all, I'm a registered staff nurse working in Kent, England and qualified since 2007. I'm hoping to move out to lethbridge, Alberta to joint my family who are in the process of moving. There's my husband and I, plus our 3 children. I'm after help, advice, and guidance to getting me to Canada. Trouble is I don't know where to go, with regards to my nursing. Do I have to sit an exam, or change it in any way. Can I apply straight away for a job. Any one got any links that would help ect. Would be great full.

Hi, and welcome.

The best thing to do is to have a good read of the Wiki and a search of the forum.

You would need to sit exams to work in Canada as a nurse I believe, and unfortunately would require a job offer and LMO to get a Temporary Work Permit.

Which family members are in the process of moving to AB, they may be of some help to you visa wise?

But have a good read of the Wiki and the forum and then shout with any questions. Best of luck.
