Hi there and welcome to the board.
I've never been to Mission in British Columbia so I cannot comment on what it is like there unfortunately.
As for should you stay or go, unfortunately you are the only one who can make that decision. obviously the people on here are all eager to, or have already, moved to Canada so naturally we're all a bit biased. You are the only one who can decide. If you've not yet been, then go there on a holiday and see if that helps, but try not to make a full decision until you've at least visited the country or area you wish to go to.

Have you been to Mission BC?
Do you know if you meet the residency visa requirements?
www.cic.gc.ca is the first stop on the journey.
Britain and Canada both have a lot to offer, the main reason I can think to leave the UK is if you cant afford to live in one of the nicer areas, or cant stand the overcrowding. Scenary is nice, but you cant eat it, so if you do go for backwater BC, think about how you will pay the bills.

yeah, we have been, just got back a week ago and loved it, my partners father lives there.
i think we have just enough points.
truth is we would love to live there, but it looks like my partner would have to take a hugh pay cut, and start again, he is a manager of a small insurance company here that pays well. but have no canadian insurance qualifications. which means he would be starting from the bottom again. which im not sure we could afford.
how are the cost of living expenses there compared to england.
