Hi Thinking of begining the whole immigration process to Canada. I have completed the neccessary initial points scheme and cleared it.
I am a biomedical scientist here and my husband is an electrical technician, we have two children 2 and 4. I am hoping to try and get a job for both or either one of us before we start off the immigration process, but I have been on the net for ages and I'm really not sure where to start! Anyone got any advice on job hunting etc? Much appreciated.

Hello, lbcs, and welcome to the BE forum.
I suggest you read the Wiki section of this website. There's a link to it in my signature, below.
Oops, FlirtyKnickers has already pointed you in the right direction. But welcome anyway.
Hope that helps.

Hello Ibcs,
It's really daunting starting off and can be very confusing. First thing we did was invest in a couple of immigration books got a large cuppa and just read them. Once we had a rough idea we then starting looking on the web and found this site (some fab advice gained I must say).
We now have our resumes written and are emailing them to everyone and looking forward to seeing some prospective employers during our recce to Toronto in Sept.
Getting your head round where to start is the hardest part
Hope all goes well and you find what your looking for
