Hello,
We are the Coleman family, just landed in Calgary on the 19th of July. We have been visiting this site for many months now, so though it was about time we said hello!

Hi Nicky and Ross.
Welcome to Canada, welcome to Calgary, and welcome to de-lurking mode on the forum.

We also landed on 19th July up in Edmonton - although we've been living here since December 2005. It was a great feeling to finally get PR status. Now waiting on the arrival of our PR cards in the next couple of weeks....
I hope you find that Canada is all (and more) than what you dreamed it would be

Thanks for the great welcome!
We are permanent residents, applied through the skilled worker route (AOR Nov 2004!!) Can't believe we are really here now!
At the 11th hour my company offere me a transfer package...just as the visa's were landing on the doormat, so that was good timing...though they could've offered it earlier...save us all the waiting...
anyhoo, it's great to be here, we are having a great time exploring in our hire car! We went up Sulphur Mountain gondola at Banff and I could've cried when I saw the views...amazing.
We're off to sign on the dotted line for a car...and have now found a house we want...so waiting on some money transferring over...it's all go!
