Hello...Mr & Mrs Harrypottermouse....

Hello - We are SOOOOOOOOOO sorry - we didn't introduce ourselves properly - we got all caught up in the excitement of our proposed new life and everything that was going on at the time...A Big Thanks to Purple80
who pointed us in this direction (OHs long time old buddies - didn't know they were off to Ontatio until a month ago!
) Nevertheless, thank you to all those people who have helped us already. There will be many more questions I'm sure over the coming months.
We live on the outskirts of London and had thought about moving to Canada some 3 years ago - our eldest would have been just 18 months...OH having been made redundant AGAIN. He found himself a really good job (or so we thought
) in a commutable distance and family harmony was once again restored.
That was until May last year when "they" decided to turf him out on some trumped up BS...we decided that was enough...it was the kick start we needed and so we started along the road to Canada. Having gone through a traumatic 9 months; 2 miscarriages and an Unfair and Wrongful Dismissal court case...we are looking forward to our "holiday" Recci - we leave in 2 days for a couple of weeks starting in Regina, then off to Yorkton and then on to Saskatoon to meet up with the last cousins not yet met. Then the holiday part - we are going to take a couple of days in Moose Jaw (because I liked the name
)
So all in we have a pretty packed two weeks as while we are around we are meeting up with a prospective new employer (now referred to as OHs "Mistress") so not much of a holiday - lots of suited and booted, but thats fine, and then hopefully while we are there prospective employer will submit and start the LMO process for real. Fingers crossed
I have had the private thought of OMG are we doing the right thing, but I enjoy the colder climates and am looking forward to having proper seasons again.
Hope this is an OK introduction...I am sure we will get to know more as we get further on in our quest. I am looking forward to meeting with some of you on our recci.
Best Wishes
Mrs Mouse (Dawn)

there we go...that's better!)
Yes, not been the greatest year for us, but hey - that is what makes life very interesting...
We're crapping it...to quote Purple80 with this recci meeting OH potential new boss and the rest of the Board of Directors...and their wives...any tips...we understand about focusing on the good in Canada and that is not hard as that is why we want to be there, but just in general...oh my head is spinning, I need a nap.
I think if I just knew how long I had to sort out everything until the LMO comes and we can all go - but I guess, if the worst comes to the worst, I could bring over the children and stay for a few months (maybe 5 then come home for a while and sort out the rest???)
Ahhh well, it's all part of the adventure!
Dawn
PS We're hoping to go to Saskatchewan
