Thought i would start by saying hello to everyone on here..
My family and i are looking to relocate to the calgary area as soon as we receive our visas.
I thought the calgary location would suit us all best as i work within the oil industry and believe there is lots of work within the drilling side of things for me out there.
Sheena is a registered nurse, so i believe there is a massive shortage of nurses around that area.
We have 4 wee boys.. 12,11,7 and 4 - Any advice as to ,whats the best area for me and the family to rent a house for a while til we get settled would be much appreciated.
We would like to be quite close to the city [suburbin living] maybe 30km - 40km from calgary and also have good schools and plenty to do for the kids [SKIING!!!]
I look forward to reading your replys and advice.
Iain and sheena.

Hi there ..... you might consider the NW or SW of Calgary, or possibly Cochrane, for easy access to both Calgary and mountains.
Click on "Wiki" in the top blue menu bar and you will find loads of info on immigration, on Calgary and environs in particular, and a new section on nursing.

Yes. The Wiki article on Renting has a long list of websites.
