Hello allWe, that's me, OH & 2 kids (14 & 9) have been thinking about Canada for a while now. I have been obsessively reading this site for weeks ( house a mess, no ironed clothes!) and it seems the only way forward is to secure a job.
My OH can take early retirement from the police force in 2010 , he has a degree in Policing and management qualifications. I will have a degree in Early Childhood Care and Education, hope that will get us somewhere.
We are off to Toronto & Ottawa in Aug for a hol/recce, although we are not set on Ontario, just felt it may give us a feel for the country.
I have picked up so much info from the members already,I look forward to asking some questions of my own...there will be plenty!

Thanks for the welcome
I'm sure we will have a great time, we will be meeting with some friends who moved out less than a year ago, so far they have no regrets.

I am a Cambridgshire (South Cambs) boy, lived there (and sometimes in Suffolk) for 42 years before moving to Manitoba.

Did you know they have a hotel chocolate there now

Its great in Cambs so diverse, i love just walking through to the Fitzwilliam museum and looking at all the students and tourists admiring the college and the history we have, sometimes we don't appreciate what we have right on our own doorstep.
