Hi. We are moving to Calgary in the summer. I am afraid I cannot give you any advice which would be useful in your situation, but just wanted to say hello and welcome anyway!

It's a huge place. Any ideas about where in Canada you would like to be?

First of all, Hello and welcome to the site.
Stacks of info on here & loads of people have been through the process your embarking on! Good "search" facility so if you think of a topic put it in the search and all the previous posts come up.
Not trying to teach you to suck eggs, but the best thing you can do is to go out there and experience everything for yourselves. It won't matter which province you go to, because everything is so "different" and "new" and "spacious" to us, you will fall in love with any province you go to. But as you know, a holiday is different to working there and you have to go where the jobs are.
I wish you good luck on your journey ahead.
